Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

I am thrilled to welcome you all to the start of another incredible school year here at Firebaugh High School. As your principal, I am both humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to serve this amazing community for the past nine years.The journey to this moment has been a remarkable one. From my initial years as a devoted teacher and coach to my time as a learning director at FHS, I have witnessed the hard work and dedication that goes into creating a positive school environment and experience for all students.  

While my role has transitioned into the principal of Firebaugh High School, my commitment to cultivating an environment where each and every student can thrive remains strong. This year, I am resolved not only to inspire and support our dedicated staff but also to strengthen the bonds between our school and the wider community. Together, we can create an educational experience that builds on the strengths of all our students. 

At FHS, we understand that our students are unique. Each with their own strengths, passions, and dreams. Our task is to provide a nurturing environment that provides resources to all our students. Through our multi tier system of support, we believe this can be achieved. FHS offers a range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and support services. We strive to foster a love of learning, curiosity, and a sense of belonging among our students.

To our staff, I express my deepest gratitude. Your dedication and tireless efforts in shaping the  minds and hearts of our students are truly commendable. Your passion for education is evident in all you do for our students. Together, we shall continue to celebrate our students' achievements and provide them with the guidance they need.

To our parents and community members, I extend a warm invitation to join us on this exciting educational journey. Your involvement, encouragement, and support contribute immeasurably to the growth and success of our school. With your partnership, we can forge even stronger relationships and build a thriving community that champions our students as they navigate their way through their high school years.

As we embark on the 2023-24 school year, let us remember that greatness does not come easily. It is attained through hard work, determination, and a shared vision of what our school can be.
